Proper
licensing is required, and will be checked by the North Beach Patrol and
the
Department of Natural Resources. The Beach Patrol is located in the Welcome Center at the pier
and can be contacted at (410) 257-7171
The Welcome Center has bathroom / shower facilities and is located
on the boardwalk at 9023 Bay Avenue and can be reached at (301)
812-1046.
North Beach offers a 550 ft. fishing /crabbing
pier and accepts boats to dock at their slips on
the lower level. The pier hours our from 6am - 11pm
and the beach is open from 6am - 10pm.

The Boardwalk & Pier is Handicap Accessible
No glass containers or picnic baskets will be permitted on the
beach.
The town of North Beach has plans for the boardwalk
and bike trail to link into a combination of walkways and nature
trails linking North Beach to the town of Rose Haven, with
observation areas that will extend around adjoining wetlands. The
corridor is landscaped and maintained with the help of the town’s
House and Garden Club. The boardwalk and pier will provide
waterfront access and pedestrian connections between Anne Arundel
County, North Beach and Chesapeake Beach.
